- I was there too - and I had to queue for 45 minutes to get in because
- there were so many people packed in that fire regulations prevented
- more people from being admitted! In fact for the first couple of hours
- I was there, it was hellish! But for once I was pleased about it...

- : I imagined
- : there would hardly be anyone there, but you couldn't swing a cat in
- : there. Found the level of interest in the Amiga very surprising. The
- : most pleasant experience had to be the AT stand. They had 4 booths in
- : the centre of the show including a small presentation theatre which
- : had various things being shown during the afternoon (mostly Scala from
- : what I saw). They also had a number of machines on display including
- : the A4000T, various A1200 setups and, in the flesh, the Walker which,
- : it must be said, looks even more like a vacuum cleaner in real life
- : than it does in the photos on the web. I think this machine could
- : probably grow on me though.
-
- They had some new monitors there too - a 15" and a 17" with DMS. The 17"
- in particular was *very* nice, having all the features you want from a
- monitor. Apparently it will retail somewhere around the 550 UKP mark,
- which is about average for a 17" VDU. And it supports 15.6kHz modes!! =)
-
- : All in all a very upbeat show. Considerably more positive and well
- : attended than I expected. Hopefully this is a good omen.
-
- I spoke to alot of the developers and every one of them seemed to be pleased
- with the show and surprised by the turnout. The Viscorp deal surprised many
- of them, but that didn't seem to deter them from feeling good. A damn fine
- show indeed - I came away feeling really positive. =)
